Wishlist wednesday; Topshop

So with my blogging starting to get back into a regular routine as fresher's week is slowly starting to disappear into the distance until next year atleast, so Wish list Wednesday is making it's return including yet another one of my favourite brands; Topshop. Now I know a lot of people that are perhaps 16-17 aren't as obsessed with Topshop as perhaps people more my age are due to the slightly heavier price tag in comparison to other High-street shops such as New Look and Primark, but I've said it once and ill say it again, you've got to remember it's honestly the quality of the clothing that you pay for when you pay slightly more for an item! Now I'm all in favour for looking around to see if you can find something similar with a cheaper price tag, but you generally can't go wrong with the quality of the garments that you purchase from Topshop, I've had a grey short pencil skirt which I brought in the sale for £15 3/4 years ago and it's honestly in such a perfect condition it's hard to believe that I've had it as long as I have and I think that that's why I love Topshop as a brand because not only are they bang on trend all year around but their garments are generally such good quality that you can't go wrong.

Topshop as a brand has been a major high-street brand and chain since 1964 and originated in Sheffield, since it's opening in 1964 Topshop has gone on to become one of the biggest British multinational retailers which specialize in fashion and now has 440 shops across 37 countries so i's safe to say that they have do be doing something right as a retailer to be as successful as they are and continue to grow on a daily basis.

Topshop like many other high-street stores/brands, are a brand that is constantly up to date with the latest's trends and styles along with silhouettes and the current seasons colour pallets so they're definitely a brand that I would be crazy to miss off of my Wish list Wednesday! Now I know that they're slightly more expensive then some other brands but I honestly think like Asos and River Island that the garments and bits and pieces you get from Topshop as a brand, are worth that extra bit of money within reason. With this in mind here's just a few of my favourite picks which have been newly stocked both online and within shops up and down the country this past week, find them all on the "New In" section of the website;

Now I know that many of you are going to look at the image above and think JESUS! I am not paying that for a simple lace bralet but others of you will think it's a fairly reasonable price and although I am in love with both the colour and fastening of this particular bralet, I would definitely not be paying this amount of money even for Topshop as although these types of bralet's are all the rage at the minute I can almost guarantee they'll be some new twist on them in a few months time so anything over £20 for a bralet is a no go for me! On a plus note, the colour of this particular garment, which is something that is just a little different from your normal black/white bralet but will still pretty much go with anything so it's a win win situation really, plus the twisted/cross over straps are something which adds that little bit of something different in comparison to a normal bralet!

This particular skirt is a style which you're pretty much guaranteed to see all over the high-street in the next couple of months because pleats are so in fashion right now and are guaranteed to be one of this seasons must haves to wear! The fact that this skirt is a suitable length and style to wear both in the day and at nigh basically means you've got a two for one because it won't only look good in the day with a jumper, a pair of chunky tights, tartan scarf and some cute ankle boots but you'll also be able to get away with dressing it up slightly with a bralet and some heels for the night, what more could you want from a skirt?

Now you know I'm a lover of stripes and with them set to be yet another statement trends next Spring/Summer this lace hem striped top is definitely hard not too as not only is it bang on trend but you can almost guarantee that you'll get even more wear out of it in the slightly colder spring days at the beginning of next year. The simple strip of lace on this particular design is something which I love and is a stamen design which Topshop seem to be reusing over and over again at the minute on various garments, but honestly, I'm definitely not complaining because I think it just adds that little bit of femininity into an other wise simple jumper/top.

Now once again you'll probably see the price tag of this before you actually see the top and it's probably safe to say, yes I do have expensive taste, its a curse really especially when you're a student and £48 is more than you're weekly allowance in itself never mind spending that much on a cropped lace/beaded top, but how gorgeous is it?! I'm definitely going to be looking around other high-street brands to find something similar to this particular garment as it's bang on trend not only with it's cropped style but with its pale blue pallet which is one of this seasons favourites, so if you can get your hands on a cheaper version of this particular top or can even afford to spend this much on this particular one I would definitely recommend it!

Now this is the second skirt of today's Topshop Wish list Wednesday, but I do have a soft spot of skirts and jumpers incase you hadn't already realised, and not only is this particular skirt once again bang on trend with its pastel pink colour pallet but I also just think it's a little bit different to the skirts which I've come across within other brands and stores for this Autumn/Winter. Zip's for detailing are a massive must within the fashion world at the minute and the zip is definitely one of the most eye catching elements to this skirt, plus with pastel colours set to be making a reappearance next Spring/Summer you could wear it over and over again and still look fashionable.

This is the last skirt of today's wish list Wednesday I promise! This knitted pelmet skirt is one which I love and i think would be so easy to pair with a variety of different colours on top because it is black with speck of white in that you could literally wear it so many times over the next few months and look different each and every time. I was however, in USC today and they had one which was pretty similar to this with 20% of, making it just under £20 but with the added zip detailing on this Topshop skirt that is where you're going to be paying the extra bit of money, it just depends how much you're willing to spend for the sake of some added zip detailing.

Finally on my Topshop wish list Wednesday are these monochrome checked pair of "treggings" which have that little bit of extra colour in them with the hints of burgundy which I think make them stand out a little bit more in comparison to just plain monochrome patterns. Not only are these style of leggings in fashion but they're also ridiculously comfy so how can you realistically deny looking fashionable and being comfy at the same time? I know that I certainly cant!

So that's yet again another wish list Wednesday done and dusted, let me know what you think and I'll be back again next Wednesday with more of my favourite picks from yet again another one of my favourite brands.
