Autumn Colours
Now firstly I'd like to apologise for there not being a blogpost yesterday, as there would have been, I got up, went out for afternoon tea with my wonderful grandma and then came back and took the photos I needed, usual routine, then I went to blog and blogger once again didn't want to work for me! Hopefully I'll have blogger up and running again on my laptop tonight because otherwise when I go back to Uni, blogging is going to be a nightmare because I'm having to use both my phone and the family computer to even create a full blogpost at the minute which is just a nightmare in itself!
Anyway now that you know the reason behind that I'll get back to talking about what I talk best about; fashion. So today's blogpost is yet again another outfit that I just threw together and I think if you didn't know this, or know me, then you'd honestly think id spent a good half an hour or so stood in front of my wardrobe contemplating what to wear; but what I really want to talk about as far as today's outfit/blogpost is one of two things, the first being the colours used within this outfit and the second being why you all need to buy an oversized floppy hat for this Autumn/Winter.
So starting with the colours used within this outfit and today's blogpost; now I'm not usually one for wearing carky green, as it often reminds me a lot of the military uniform, however since the military trend set off again last Autumn/Winter and made yet again, another massive impact within the fashion industry, this colour has become more and more popular within clothing garments that we see on the high street. Now I no that you wouldn't wear this colour an awful lot during the Spring/Summer, but for the coming months I honestly think that it is going to be one of the most popular colours of the season combined with burgundy's, plumbs and coppers and then pastel colours at the other end of this seasons colour pallet. So if you can get yourself a simple shirt/blouse in two or three of these colours I can guarantee they'll be some of your statement pieces this season.
Now secondly is my black floppy hat and I know that I've roughly touched on this accessorie being one of the must haves of this coming season but if you haven't got one already please, and I can not exaggerate this enough, go out and buy yourself one! It doesn't have to be black I've seen this style of hat in some beautiful colours such as a burgundy and copper and it also doesn't have to be expensive, I got this beauty from Primark for £8, it just past to look around before you buy although if you did want one that's in a colour other than black then you may have to pay just that little but more as they won't be as regularly available I wouldn't have thought. Anyway, now that I've got the main importance of this blogpost out of the way, here's just a brief breakdown of today's outfit;
Starting with the black floppy hat, I'm not going to say or touch on much about this particular item because I think I've already touched on it enough, but the one think I am going to say is simply GO AND BUY ONE! You honestly won't regret this purchase.
Next is my olive/carky green blouse that actually made an appearance in one of last weeks blogpost's but was worn in a completely different way. Blouses of this specific style are great for wearing in various ways and go with a variety of different garments as you can wear them unbuttoned, buttoned, buttoned but tied up in an almost cropped style, tucked in, left loose; there is literally so many variations to the way you can wear this style of blouse and what you can wear it with. So I definitely recommend getting your hands on a few of these in this Autumn/Winters colours and you'll be sorted for a variety of different outfits/loos this season.
Once again I'm not going to spend to long on my Levi high-waisted shorts as you probably know by now and have seen for yourself through the variety of different things I've worn them with throughout the course of the past few months, that they go with everything and they're definitely worth the investment. Whoever says that shorts are just for your summer wardrobe were wrong, as I've made clear in today's post and a few of my others shorts can also play a massive part in your Autumn/Winter wardrobe so take note!
Team these items with black shoes and a black bag, linking in the colour of the hat with the rest of the outfit and you're set for another great Autumn/Winter look and outfit for the coming months that you can re-wear and reuse as many times as you want!
So that's another blogpost done and yet another outfit that you can easily adapt and change to represent your own style! Don't forget Wishlist Wednesday is back tomorrow and the brand I shall be looking at is yet another online giant; Asos.
