Winter Warmers
So with the weather starting to slowly go down hill and getting gradually colder, although the sun does attempt every so often to appear giving you just a glimmer of hope that there may be still some sunny summer days left in this year, usually at the beginning of September when everyone's back at school or college, the winter woollies are slowly starting to make a re-appearance both in the fact that people are dragging their favourite wooly jumpers, cardigans and knits out from the bottom of their wardrobes replacing them with their bikinis and everything else summery, sigh, but also in the majority of high-street shops the autumn/winter goodies of next season are slowly starting to replace the summer stock and make their way to the front of the store!
With this in mind, todays outfit is going to feature around my navy blue knitted jumper with a lace trim that is one of my favourite jumpers which I own and trust me I own a lot of jumpers, you can ask anyone that knows me personally on how bad my jumper addiction got last Autumn/Winter every week I would be buying a new one as they're literally all I wear in the winter! Anyway this jumper was a steal as it was in the Topshop Sale a few months ago when they were getting rid of the rest of their winter stock ready for the summer and it was one of my brighter moments as not only did I personally love the style myself, but it seems that the designers also loved it that much that they're brought it back this Autumn/Winter in beautiful pastel colours so not only was the jumper a bargain but it's also set to be very much a trending item again this season!
So here's today's outfit breakdown on a slightly colder day in the good old east of England;
Starting with the bargain jumper, as I've already said it's one of my favourites, and I own a lot of jumpers, and the reason why I love this jumper so much more than anything is because A. it's ridiculously comfy and B. it's lace edging makes in different to the majority of other knits/jumpers that you see in the high-street, and why it may have been slightly more expensive than what I'd usually pay for a jumper, Primark is my favourite place for jumpers in the winter, fashionable and affordable, I don't regret buying it one bit! Plus the high neckline of this jumper and the slightly cropped cut is bang on trend this year, so what more could you ask for?
Next are my famous high-waisted skinny jeans, now I know I've been going on about high-waisted skinny jeans will be your new best friend next season in other blog posts, and I honestly believe they will be because they're most definitely mine already! They're just so easy to pair with anything, a lot like most jeans but they just give you that step up on the fashion/trend ladder keeping your outfit up to date and you looking stylish! They're definitely worth the investment in my opinion.
Finally my shoes, these are yet another item I love just simply because of the style of them! My mum says they look like a pair of shoes I'd of warn to school when I was little but this style of shoe is honestly one of my favourites and they're just something different to your everyday shoe, which I love!
So that's today's outfit post why don't you head over to Topshop's website and check out their gorgeous pastel colours that are now available in this jumper! Shall blog tomorrow!
