Black on black
So once again as the weather has been rather crappy today, it appears that the typical English crappy weather is just around the corner so unfortunately my posts are going to start becoming a lot less summery and a lot more autumn/winter like! Now don't get me wrong the fact that once again, summer is coming to an end does sadden me slightly, but realistically I am actually rather excited about getting back into my favourite winter woollies and wrapping up in my big warm coats and my fur hat to beat the winter weather! Plus I don't think it's just me, infact I know it's not just me, but I can't wait to get back to wearing black on black again as it's just so stylish and ultra thinning, which after a few too many bottles of wine/peach snaps during freshers I'll be happy to hide the fact I've gained a few extra pounds since being back at Uni in September, by wearing all black!
So that's another blog post done, what do you think to my twist on black on black? Let me know what you think!

With that in mind today's blogpost/ OOTD is very much a black on black combination which I just threw together today so I could pop out and get some last minute bits ready for the weekend, and I must admit I instantly fell in love with it! Now although it is black on black I've kind of added some summer colours and garments, that you probably wouldn't want to wear during the colder months, but I feel works really well together for this time of year, when we're in between seasons and everyone's kind of that awkward stage of whether to take a jumper/ rain coat everywhere they go with them or not!
On that note, here's today's outfit breakdown;
So starting with my crop top, which as you all should know if you've read my other blogpost that this specific top has featured in, it's not actually a crop top in so many words but a sports bra! I don't very often wear this top out during the day as I think it shows a bit too much cleavage and tend to stick to wearingn it on nights out with the girls, but for this look it looks great, because it just breaks up the blocks of black with skin and therefore doesn't make the outfit too heavy!
Next is my kimono, which I love and can honestly say I've got my money's worth out of already and I still hope to wear it over and over again next summer or the days which are perhaps a little brighter and warmer in the coming months! Like I've said before, you honestly can not go wrong with investing in a kimono especially one with fringing, as if you didn't know already, fringing is going to be one of the new big up and coming trends in the next few months, so why not kill two birds with one stone and get a kimono with fringing and then you'll be able to rock two looks/trends both at same time! Could you really ask for anything better?
Finally are my black High-waisted skinny jeans, because I'm not going to bore you with my shoes and bag talk because let's face it, I think you've heard enough about them! To give you any more information on these two items without repeating myself would be like trying to get blood from a stone, it's just not going to happen! Now I love, love, love these jeans and they go so well with this look, as I'm a sucker for black anything, as you've probably already noticed, I can already tell that these jeans in particular are going to get a lot of wear out of them in the coming colder months, because let's face facts black skinnys go with anything and everything, which is probably the reason why I love them so much!
