Rock'N'Roll Vibes

So as the weather is starting to get colder, and I'm definitely feeling it right now snuggled up in my over-sized Planet Hollywood jumper, of course one trend, that does happen to hold a special place in my heart because it all started in a decade that I absolutely love and always have done and my mum and dad were both "rockers" back in the day, is the Rock'N'Roll/ rock chic look that everybody loves this time of year, as it's an excuse to wear your leather jacket religiously and see if you can squeeze your bum and hips into an even tighter pair of skinny jeans then you already do any other time of the year, that's right, tighter!

The Rock'N'Roll look has been one trend that people have continued to adapt, add and take away from ever since the 1950's brought it to our attention. Since the 1950's the Rock'N'Roll/ rock chic look has become a statement piece/ trend which everyone whose anybody seems to have stored away in their wardrobes waiting for a colder day to appear and for the leather jacket and skinny's to come out and I am most certainly one of them!

With this in mind today's look, although it doesn't contain a leather jacket, sorry about that it was a little warmer than it currently is when I took these photo's, is my version/take on how to keep the Rock'N'Roll style/ Rock Girl look alive and breathing in today's ever changing fashion circle, so here's today's outfit breakdown;

So with my top, we're straight away 1 point up into creating the Rock'N'Roll look/image as Guns and Roses were and still are probably one of the biggest rock bands of all time, after Bonjovi obviously, so therefore this top straight away gives off the image of that edgy Rock'N'Roll look you're trying to achieve, and just so you know I actually do know more than one song written by Guns and Roses and am not just one of those girls who wears band merchandise, I actually grew up listening to them thanks to my Mum and Dad being rockers! But none the less, weather you're a rocker or a fan of Guns and Roses or not, this top goes perfectly with near enough everything so I recommend that you go and get your hands on some sort of rock bands top if you want to create this look in a casual way like I do.

Next are my famous Levi shorts which I've tried to avoid wearing for a while on blogpost's as I started to realise that they were appearing on near enough every blogpost or OOTD I did! Anyway there's not much to say about my Levi Shorts apart from go out and get yourself a pair if you haven't got yourself a pair already, because I can assure you before long you'll be wearing them with absolutely everything and I mean everything, because I sure as hell do! That aside these shorts go really well with this look as they're a faded/acid denim which helps to mimic the Rock'N'Roll trend/style even more if It's not black and tight it has to be acid denim and tight, trust me!

My little pumps as I like to call them, have also featured on here more often than not alongside my bucket shaped bag,but these are two item's which just dress the look up a bit and also add a bit of femininity too it. If you think that this takes your look away from the Rock'N'Roll vibe/edge you're trying to achieve, then simply pair it with a pair of converse and a black bag-pack to keep it more in fitting with the trend/look.  I always just like to add a bit of femininity to my looks to change it up a bit but also to keep it more of a me look than just following a trend/style but everyone has there own opinion.

So here's my twist on the casual/everyday Rock'N'Roll trend that everyone seems to love this time of year, add a leather jacket and a scarf and you're all set to continue rocking this look into December!
