Denim and Lace; two of my favourite trends combined

Now as many of you I'm sure will know weather you're immersed into the whole fashion/design circle of the fashion industry or not, that lace and denim have both been huge trends not only just this season but past seasons also, it seems that we just can't get enough of these two trends and is it any wonder why?

The Denim trend is something which I fully believe we'll never truley get rid of, as it's just such a classic look that has been shaped and altered over the years to fit the latest silhouettes and shapes that the fashion industry has to offer, that it's really just become a trade mark within the fashion industry! I mean where would we be if we didn't have our favourite pair of skinny denim jeans in our wardrobes today?

As for the lace trend I believe this, on the other hand, is a trend that will come and go out of fashion just as fur and other trends/styles do, but for now it is set to be a huge trend for this coming season and it also is one of my favourite's as it's just so girly and feminine, plus when your wear it I always think it gives you a bit more of a sophisticated/classy look as it's typical used for evening wear.

Now today's blogpost combines these two recent trends in a casual everyday look that I believe pretty much anybody can get away with wearing, as it's just so effortless and easy to create, so on that note, here's today's outfit breakdown;

So starting with my lace top, this is just a cotton top with a kind of lace effect given to the front of the T-shirt and then just plain white cotton on the back, so it's not too breezy! This is a top that's not only bang on trend right now but also is a top which, and trust me, you can wear with absolutely anything! I've worn it with my skinny jeans, my famous Levi shorts, my denim pencil skirts it literally just goes with anything and everything and if you can get your hands on one then I would more than urge you to buy it! These types of tops are everywhere at the minute on the high-street and a lot of them are in the sales as they're deemed more Spring/Summer wear than they are Autumn/Winter but trust me you won't be disappointed if you invest in a casual lace top like this!

Next is my denim pinafore, now I brought this out of curiosity back in February/March time of this year thinking it's denim, anything will go with it, I'll wear it a couple of times and then it'll just sit in my wardrobe for a while, but no, I've honestly worn this pinafore to death! Like my lace top, I've worn this denim pinafore with jumpers and blouses in the winter and then just casual short sleeved tops in the Spring/Summer and everyone always compliments how good it looks. So I know not everyone is a pinafore type of person, but I honestly don't know what I'd do without mine and pinafores are set to be one of the hottest garments on the high-street this coming season, as once again alike my denim one, they practically go with anything and everything so go and check them out!

Now my bag has been on the blog numerous times now but just in case anyone is wondering, it's otherwise known as a bucket bag and these have been one of the most popular shapes of hand bags in recent months, once again I brought it on a whim, looking for a slightly bigger bag for uni other than my usual hand bag, and it's honestly been one of the best bags I've had for the money, well worth the investment!

Today's outfit is effortlessly causal yet I think is still very feminine just by adding simple added extra's to the look such as the bow scrunchie and red lipstick.
Bow Scrunchie - Topshop - £3.50, Lace Cotton T-Shirt - Primark - £5, Denim Pinafore - Primark - £12, Converse - Converse Shop - $25, Bucket Bag - Primark - £8.
 So that's today's look, let me know what you think of how I've combined these two trends together!
