Nautical

So today's blogpost is covering a nautical style/trend in a basic fashion! Now I know that I've already semi covered the nautical trend/style, which seems to be one of the most loved trends in the fashion world as it always seems to be resurfacing after so many years, this trend is clearly one that none of us want to let go, but I can't help but re-wear the T-Shirt in today's blogpost over and over again as it simply goes with everything and is just so simple to wear with the majority of my wardrobe. plus I am a firm believer that in order to be a blogger, you don't have to go out and buy new garments every single time you want to write a blogpost, just use what you've got in your wardrobe and work it in different ways! After all the more use you can get out of one item without wearing it in the same way/style all the time makes that item 10 x better in my opinion, plus I'm a student and all though I like to think I have money to throw away on new clothes every week, I don't! Especially if I want to go on the Paris trip next February!

Anyway, today's blogpost is fairly similar to my previous blogpost "stripes are a must", as it teams my favourite stripped top together with a different denim garment, but the outfit I have on today's blogpost looks completely different to the one I wore for my "stripes are a must blogpost", which just shows how many different looks you can achieve with simply buying one item that you love, and it didn't even cost me that much either!  Now I have said it before and I'll say it again, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not shy away from stripes because you think they'll make you look bigger than you actually are, I used to feel the exact same way until I started experimenting with different patterns and colours around this time last year and realised that I could actually wear stripes and look good wearing them! If you need help in deciding which stripes look best on you whether they're thick or thin or vertical or horizontal check out my "stripes are a must" blogpost for the low down on what type of stripes will look best on you dependent on your body shape! With this in mind, here's today's outfit breakdown;

So my top is the only stripes I need within this outfit, as alike the floral trend, you don't want to over do it with wearing multiple stripped garments at one time! This particular top is one that I love not only because it's stripped and is bang on trend but also because I love the cropped style of it, as it's just long enough to tuck into my Levi denim shorts but it's short enough to look like it should with my high-waisted skinny jeans! It really is a top that you can wear whenever and with whatever, I've definitely got more than my £8's worth out of it and will probably continue to wear it throughout the rest of this year and the next!

Now my famous Levi Shorts have made an appearance once again on an OOTD, but I did think it had been a while since if last worn them and with the weather slowly starting to go downhill and get colder, I thought I needed to get my wear out of them whilst I still can! The lighter look denim really suits the darker stripes in the T-shirt and just gives the outfit a nice casual look, that can easily be termed with a leather jacket, a tartan scarf and some ankle boots when the weather starts to get a little nippy!

Today's outfit is causal and versatile for both Spring,Summer, Autumn and Winter just simply add too it or take away depending on the weather!
Stripped T-Shirt - Topshop - £8, Levi Denim Shorts - Topshop - £25, Black Flat Shoes - Primark - £12.99, Bucket Bag - Primark - £10.
So that's today's blogpost, yet again showing you how to style one of the most popular trends in the fashion world in a completely different way!
