I'm back!
Sorry I've not been updating the blog with regular fashion news updates, outfits and looks for the past week but I've been away down south to Suffolk with family! The original idea was that I would keep updating the blog with regular blogposts and updates like I normally do from the comfort of the beautiful old farm house/cottage that we stayed in however it wasn't that straight forward, with my laptop playing up and not wanting to load blogger before I went away I decided to leave it at home and use the blogger app which I have on my phone! So on the way down there I'm sat typing away creating a blogpost explaining what I'd be looking at in the next week which you could look at via the blogposts I would upload e.c.t, however due to an image failure and my phone not wishing to co-operate sadly my idea to keep blogging whilst I was away failed! But I'm back!
So today's post is just a quick/short outfit post which you should have been able to view last week, but obviously couldn't because of technical issues but anyway I've decided that a long with the break down of trends/styles and looks which I having been posting about lately to give you an idea how to wear the higher fashion trends and styles without breaking the bank I'm also going to try out the "daily outfit" post which is basically just a post of what I'm wearing that day to give you some more idea's to what to wear in the coming months plus I thought it would tie in nicely with my new lookbook which one of my previous post's was about, but don't worry I'll still keep blogging all the latest fashion news and updates just like my previous posts.
So here's just a quick breakdown of my outfit;
My Levi Shorts, which were a bargain from Topshop around Christmas time last year and only cost me £25, are a garment which I wear on a regular basis, they never fail to make an outfit look good and if you haven't got a pair of High-waisted shorts I strongly recommend you get yourself to the shops and buy yourself some because high-waisted anything is IN right now and will continue to be this autumn/winter with a lot of high-waisted skinny jeans making there way into high street shops recently!
My Black crop top is a hand me down from my mum and many of you maybe surprised to know that it is actually an old sports bra! Yes an old sports bra! All my friends are always asking me where I got it from because and I quote, "your boobs always look amazing in it!" So I'm sharing my secret with you now, just like I have done with all the friends of mine who have asked over the last two years, get yourself to any high street or sports shop and buy yourself a plain black sports bra, it'll be the best thing you ever do!
Now my kimono has already been featured on the blog in one of last weeks blogposts on the kimono trend which has taken this season by storm, but kimonos are so easy to wear with near enough everything it's hard not to keep re-wearing them over and over again! plus the light/baby blue colour of this particular kimono is bang on trend with this summer's pastel colour chart and is just really a great Spring/Summer colour so I hope to get even more use out of it in the summers to come if it doesn't drop to bits by the end of this summer due to over wearing it!
Finally my jelly shoes! Now I know the jelly shoe trend is a lot like marmite, you either love them or you hate them, but I am most definitely one of the people that love them!! I don't know what it is about them but they just remind me of all the happy times that I had when I was a child at the beach with my mum and dad and grandparents, as I was a serial jelly shoe wear back in the day, plus they're just so comfy and go with near enough everything so it's really hard not to love them!
So that's today's outfit post! Once again I'm sorry for not posting the past week but I suppose every once in a while it's nice to have a break, especially when you realise how much you love blogging when you come back to posting everyday!
