So as we're all fully immersed in the summer sunshine, or what little we have of it in the UK, right now in the East Midlands we're suppose to be having a heat wave, and while currently I'm sat outside in my family's little court yard at home, it seems like a pleasant summer's evening, however this morning was a different story I was armed with my high waisted skinny jeans and the most comfortable baggy jumper with a lace trim, which I brought in the Topshop Sale recently (cant beat a good bargain), fully prepared for the icy wind, so I question you met office where is this heat wave!!
Anyway moving on from the conversation of the English "summer's" weather that we have, it appears that the fashion world has already started preparing itself for this years next seasons; Autumn/winter collections! Yes that's right, autumn/winter collections, so while you're sunning it up in some hot tropical climate making the most of what can be considered as actually summer weather, shops across the world have already started stocking up in the next seasons must haves!
But what will next season bring us? as yet we're still left in the dark slightly and probably far too occupied with all the summer adventures we're planning, after all there's nothing like the present, to think about what the colder months later in the year have for us, however due to the recent release of varying top brands marketing/advertising campaign's next season is set to be a good one with celebrities from every corner of the celeb industry putting their names and faces to varying designer brands, so they've got to be worth looking at right?

Rita Ora is just one of the many faces which has been pictured representing next seasons DKNY collection. |

Alexa Chung is looking as stylish as ever in her latest photo shoot for Long Champ, if you've not read her book "It" yet, its definitely worth a read! |

Cara Delevingne doing what she does best, once again sporting one of next seasons top brands, Mulberry. |

Well minus the latest marketing advertisement's by the big named brands which you can see above, for this years autumn/winter ranges I've had a look into trend prediction and don't fear girls, the woollen and knits are going to be all the rage again this winter, which If you're anything like me and brought far too many jumpers last year, then don't worry because you can re-use them all again this year, success!
Along with woollens comes some new trends such urban retro which is a splash of both the 60's and 90's combining together to give our winter wardrobes that splash of colour that we need! This combined with an 80's revival, so this means those beloved pixie boots can come out of the back of your wardrobe again we're also "borrowing from the boys" which means we can now have an even bigger excuse to get away with the big baggy jumpers of our boyfriends out in public and call it fashion even more so. This Autumn/winter is set to be yet another big success within the fashion industry and by no coincidence at all it seems that the hot/statement colour of the season just happens to be red, so I'm definitely on to a winner next season, colour wise at least!

So once again the fashion industry has given us all a bit of something to work with in the upcoming months whether you're a tom boy, and indie girl, a vintage lover or a girly girl, there is something for everyone, I'm just hoping that the boyfriend oversized coat and fur comes back in, these were two looks that kept me the warmest back in February during my visit to a very cold London this and leather, because lets face facts leather jackets will never go out of fashion! Let me know your thoughts.
