Cara Delevingne for Topshop

So this may come as old news to some of you but then again it may come as completely new news to others of you but Cara Delevingne is the new face of Topshop, yes Cara Delevingne the model whom has been making one hell of a impression in the fashion industry since the tender young age of 17 when her naturally blonde hair, amazing blue eyes and dark eyebrows captured the attention of both fashion designers and photographers all over the world, is now the new face of Topshop, as if we needed any more reason to go and spend a fortune in there right?

Cara has come a long way since she first entered the modelling world and ultimately the fashion industry, being a regular to appear in fashion shows and catwalks such as both the London and Paris Fashion Week's and wearing brands from Chanel to Burberry it's clear that this young model has made quite a hefty impression on the fashion world already and this clearly didn't go a miss by high-street brand Topshop.

Topshop has been known to work with celebrity faces in the past both from within the fashion industry and industry's alike from those such as Kate Moss, whom also a model, designed her first collection for Topshop back in 2007 and is still very much a familiar face within the company, designing a new collection (Spring/Summer 2014) earlier this year for the worldwide known high-street brand. Christopher Kane, Stella Vine, Mary Katrantzou and J.W Anderson are just a few of the other famous names that Topshop has collaborated with so is it any wonder that this set to be superstar model newbie has been snatched up by this high-street giant? I don't think so.

Although Delevingne is probably most well known for her modelling career due to her being a two-time Victoria Secrets model, someone whom has fronted campaigns for English labels such as both Burberry and Mulberry aswell as doing international brands such as DKNY and Yves Saint Laurent this women has a lot more to offer than just her perfected walk down the catwalk and her slim line body, Cara has also created her own collection for Mulberry and has tried her hand at a spot of acting in which she was lucky enough to star alongside the one and only Johnny Depp!

So with all these things going for her, Delevingne is certainly making her name well known across the globe, but it's her designer roots which perhaps we hope interest the likes of Philip Green, the CEO of the Arcadia group which Topshop are owned and run by, next as he may enlist Delevingne to perhaps create a Kate Moss style collection for the high street brand. We can only dream right?
