Black and White Simplicity

So it's a new week and so I though id start it with a slightly new style/way of blogging and see how it goes and what everyone thinks of it. In today's blogpost, I'm still going to be looking at my typical OOTD styles which run/rule my blog, the majority of the time, but with the work load from uni still being pretty full on, I've worked out a way which enables me to get the same content to you on a more regular basis and means I can do it in advance! But do not worry, my old school OOTD's will still be coming your way... I just need to get my photographer back on hand and start planning my blogpost's ahead of time and we'll be back in business!

So within today's blogpost, I've looked at three different ways in to how to style the same jumper, which will enable you to get your money's worth out of this particular garment, but also will give you an idea of how easy it is to style just one garment over and over again and for it to look completely different each and every time. Now with it officially being November and with the cold weather having made more than one appearance within the past week or two, wearing black everyday is something which nobody really seems to bat an eyelid at, which for me is ideal, as although I don't seem to do it on purpose, I seem to have become a bit of a black'aholic since becoming a fully fledged fashion student and can't seem to go a day without wearing something black. So of course, today's blogpost primarily focuses on how easy the colour is too wear, day in day out, without even realising. With all this in mind, lets take a look at exactly what garment it is that I'll be restyling over and over again in today's blogpost!

Black knitted jumper with a  white detailed collar - Primark - £10
So if any of you follow me on either my personal or blog instagram account, then you'll have seen this jumper before! I purchased this little number when I was in Sheffield this weekend, doing some primary research for my new Visual Studies Project, and although I shouldn't have, I couldn't help but be tempted in to buying, yes, yet another jumper, but at a £10 it was a steal and I'm going to show you how just one little garment, like this one, can easily create three new Autumn/Winter looks this season which are all bang on trend but completely different!

Look one;
Denim Pinafore - Primark - £15, Frilly Socks - Primark - £1.50, Black Pixie Boots - Primark - £8
 So the first look of three includes some of my favourite garments to wear during the colder months and is a great casual look which the majority of people can easily pull off. Now, although many people may think that pinafores were so last year, they're still making a massive impact within high-street fashion and they give you that little bit of something different within your wardrobe during the Autumn/Winter season other than just simple skirts and jeans with perhaps the odd dress! Plus, I can honestly say you'll get so much out of a pinafore like this denim one as it goes with everything including jumpers, shirts, t-shirts e.t.c you can easily create so many different looks with it, including this one!

Look Two;
Dogtooth Winter Coat - Matalan - £40, Grey Mini Skirt - Topshop - £15, Shoes - Primark - £10
 My second look could perhaps remind a few people of their school days, but I think it's a hell of a lot more stylish than anything I was aloud to wear when I was at school! The grey Skirt that makes up the bottom half of this outfit was a steal from Topshop 3 or 4 years ago in the sale and is only something which I've recently brought back to the front of my wardrobe again, but I think it fits perfectly with this jumper and the outfit is just a generally cute day to day look! With or without a big chunky winter coat, you'll look stylish where ever you go and whatever you do wearing this ensemble.

Look Three;
Leather Jacket - T K Maxx - £25, Camel Skirt - Matalan - £14, Fur Collar - Matalan - £10, Shoes - Primark - £10

This third and final look combines two of my winter essentials; Leather and Fur. Now this look is very similar to my second look due to the simple fact that it combines the jumper with yet again another skirt, but the two outfits look and create a completely different look and image do they not? Like the other two looks this outfit is so easy to achieve and just epitomises how to achieve that Winter/Autumn look with minimum effort.

So that's my blogpost for today, and that's how you can easily make a £10 jumper look completely different in three different ways, enabling you to wear it over and over again and create a new image and look everytime! Just perhaps don't wear them one day after the other... you may need to wash the jumper inbetween! That's it till tomorrow from me, but what did you think too the new/restyle of my OOTD style blogpost? let me know what you think!
