Wish List Wednesday; Boohoo

So I'm back and yet again it's another Wednesday and another week; is it me or do the weeks seem to be flying by just recently? It doesn't seem a minute since I was finishing off my 1st year as a Fashion Design Student, now I've been given all the modules and work that goes with it to start Second Year and I've only done one full day back and I wouldn't even consider that a full day! But anyway I love my course so the work doesn't really come as that much of a task to me it just seems that I'm living and breathing fashion at the minute which is probably how it should be; anyway as I've already said its another Wednesday and another week which only means one thing... the return of Wish List Wednesday obviously!

This week I'm looking at another online giant like Asos, which I've already made a wish list on and is still available for you to read if you wish, just simply scroll back through my blogpost's and find the one that's titled "Wish List Wednesday; Asos". This brand is yet again another online only brand which I really think should consider opening various shops up and down the country, as I would definitely invest a good proportion of my time in them; obviously when I'm not working my fingers to the bone to try and past my degree to one day be part of the actual fashion industry myself, and I think a decent amount of other fashion a'holics like myself would do as well, so If anyone from their head office is reading this, which I highly doubt but it's worth a try anyway, please take note and make one of my little fantasies/dreams come true, thanks in advance!

The internet fashion giant that I'm going on about of course is Boohoo; Boohoo was founded in 2006, has continued to grow and flourish since the day it launched online and will only continue to grow even further in the near future. Boohoo has developed a brand identity and an international online proposition since being founded in 2006 and now has a well established brand in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Combined with this, the brands products are sold in over 100 countries and they now have over 2.3 million active customers and approximately 140,000 new customers registering on the website per month, so it's safe to say that this online fashion giant won't be going anywhere soon! With this mind here's a few of my favourite picks from Boohoo's New In section;

So starting with Amelie Oversized boxy tee, now I want to start off by first of all talking about the silhouette/shape of this particular garment; now  I know and understand that crop tops aren't ideal for Autumn/Winter but I can't help but love them! Plus if you team them with high-waisted skirts, shorts or jeans then usually 8/10 they'll fit nicely into the top, so you don't actually have to wear it as a crop top! This little technique, which I am guilty of using, especially when I' m having a bloated day, is ideal for getting two looks out of one top like making this particular garment a perfect purchase at only £8 what more could a uni student ask for?

Now I love the tartan trend this time of year and this skirt is no exception! The one main thing that drew me to this particular skirt, minus the fact that it's tartan obviously, is he fact that I've never actually seen a pattern like this in this particular colour before and I have to say more items of clothing should definitely be maid in this off grey tartan colour because I love it! Because of the colour of this particular skirt it also makes it easy to team it with a variety of vibrant knitted jumpers, including this seasons hot picks; pastel colours, which is also means that you can create look after look with this skirt and you're guaranteed it will never look the same!

This style of coat along with the Coccon coat, is one that seems to always make it's way onto my Wish List Wednesdays! It doesn't matter what brand I'm blogging about or even looking at this style of coat always seems to appear and draw me in over and over again which I have now come to the conclusion is definitely a sign that I need to have one!! This style of coat combined with the Cocoon silhouette is hotter than anything this Autumn/Winter and so is the pastel colour pallet which they seem to be popping up in everywhere and anywhere but even if you want to play it safe and have a neutral coloured coat this winter, not to fear because these coats look equally as hot in neutral colours such as camel and grey so I definitely recommend going out and getting your hands on one whilst you still can.

Jumpers are my favourite, favourite garment when it comes to the colder months and although I'm going to have to stop myself from buying this particular jumper and the other knitted number which features on today's wish list, simply due to the fact that I already have 20+, this doesn't mean that you can't! Now once again we're seeing the cropped style, which I can only imagine is going to be ridiculously big this season, and although, like with the cropped box sleeved top, some of you may be against buying cropped items of clothing for your Autumn/Winter wardrobes, like I've already said, 8/10 you can tuck them in if you really want too, plus do you really want to miss out on this trend? Because I know I certainly don't!

Back on the tartan front again and it seems that I'm not the only one that can't get enough of this trend, as Boohoo's website is crawling with various different garments all in different colours and styles of the tartan trend for this years Autumn/Winter season! Now these tartan check tube jeans are something along the lines of what I've wanted for a while, as I think you could wear a range of different garments with them, making your look different every time you wear them and still look bang on trend! For example a plain black strappy top either tucked in or lose, teamed with a denim or leather jacket and heeled sandals or winter boots would look great with these trousers and you already have two looks right there! These are definitely a pair of trousers that I need to invest in in the coming months and at £25 you can't grumble can you?

Next is the second jumper of today's wish list Wednesday and yet again it's another cropped style, so this can surely on mean one thing! That one thing being that the cropped jumper silhouette is definitely a must this Autumn/Winter, so maybe just maybe, I'm going to have to make just a little investment into just one cropped jumper for this season, because one surely cant hurt can it? The colour of this jumper is also a colour that I love and is also one of the in colours this season, this jumper makes for a really cute purchase and would look super cute and on trend with a pair of high-waisted denim jeans plus for £20 you can't complain!

Yet another camel coloured coat has made it onto my wish list Wednesday, but this one is slightly different to any other that I've come across before and it is has definitely made me love this style and colour a hell of a lot more than I already did! Now although I don't like the way this coat fastens, as I don't think it would look right on me when it is fastened, left open this coat could easily be one of my definite must have winter coats for this Autumn/Winter as A. You can wear it with anything and it wouldn't look out of place and B. Both the style and colour are bang on trend right now and at £50 you know that the quality of this coat is going to be good and last you at least for a winter or two.

Last but certainly by no means least, is of course a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans! After sadly ripping my pair of Black skinny's this weekend after falling over down a little dirt path when walking back from a BBQ Sunday night, I am on the hunt for some newbies and these may just have to slip into my Boohoo basket and be delivered to my address next week! Skinny high-waisted jeans go with anything and if you haven't got a pair already please, please, please go out invest in some, I honestly cannot recommend buying yourself a pair enough, you'll honestly not regret it, at only £25 aswell you definitely have to get a pair!

So that concludes yet another Wish List Wednesday, what did you think of my Autumn/Winter Boohoo must haves? Let me know what you think and Wish List Wednesday will be returning yet again next week with new Autumn/Winter goodies to feast your eyes on!
